Zbyszek - the balancing robot
An old device I built for my university project. It was built during those old times when MEMS sensors were a bit expensive, so this robot uses none. The balance is kept by measuring the distance to the ground at the front and the back of the robot.
I design devices based on AVR, 8051, MSP430 and ARM microcontrollers. I complete projects from PCB-design, through prototyping, to firmware development and testing. Known PCB design software: Eagle, KiCAD, Altium Designer, Mentor Graphics PADS.
