»Rekske Platt« is a paperback about the lower german dialect Rekske Platt. The 11,5 x 18 cm handbook contans words, sayings, stories and poems of the region in which the dialect is spoken. It also contains coloured illustrations to further support the understanding of this language. I hope to save a little bit of this vanishing dialect with this book. ISBN: 978-3-00-062143-7

Hi! Nice to meet you! My name is Lydia and I am an Illustrator from Dorsten, Germany with a love of black ink, quick lines and a lot of whitespace. In 2018 I earned a Bachelor's Degree of Communication Design at Folkwang University in Essen with an illustrated dictionary on dialects. In 2019 I then fulfilled my dream of becoming an illustrator.
