I am a post-graduate in English (Media and Communication). Having worked with reputed publishing houses in India--Oxford University Press, Orient Blackswan (as a freelancer), and Thomson Reuters--I am used to developing and editing readable, factually accurate content within time and budgetary constraints. I have also interned with two of the best-known newspapers of India--The Hindu and The New Indian Express--where I learnt reporting, feature writing and editing. While my primary editing experience is in School publishing (primary schoolbooks), I have also worked with a few higher academic books. I love reading, and do a bit of writing as well--mainly poetry and short stories. I love history, and most of the Social Sciences. I also like popular Science, inspired by the work of Carl Sagan.
