Have a great mind
Having a great mind is not about thinking fast or thinking well. It is about what you are thinking with your mind (either good or bad). Your mind is the only certain thin that will tell you the real truth about yourself. Eye is the only thing that will tell you the real truth about something (what you see is what you will be sure of). If you send someone to check something with expectation of feedback. If they come back to give you feed back about what you ask them to go and check for. They can never give you the full details of how it happens unless you go there and see for yourself (That is the work of your two eyes). What I want you to understand is: Seeing is believe. For example: You committed a crime and no one sees you while you were committing the crime. If they ask you, who committed this crime? You have the power to deny that you are not the one who committed the crime, because no one was there with you while you were committing the it. Your mind is the only thing that will say: Hey! You are lying. There are three things that make decision for you. Those things are on your body: Your eyes, your mind and your brain. Eyes will see and capture it and save it in the brain. Brain will pass it to the mind. Mind will now process it and give you the feedback and then pass it the mouth. Mouth is just like a messenger to the mind because what your mind tells you is whatever you will say. For one to have a great mind, one has to be able to make decision on anything alone. To be able to make decision alone is an act of believing in yourself. This is how you can make decision alone: Decision has four sides: Right, left, up and down. For you to make a decision on something you have to first think right. Ask yourself if I do this in the right way what will be the outcome? If I do it in the left way what will be the outcome? If I take it up what will be the outcome? If I take it down what will be my outcome? I bet if you do this, you will surely come up with a good idea. After you have made your decision, then plan for what you want to get by the end of whatever you are doing. Plan and determination are related. If you plan to do something, definitely you have determined to do it. There are two types of determination: Straight determination and Random determination. Straight determination is when one planned to do one thing without doing another thing no matter how complicated the thing is. There was a man in 1997, he has died now. He was a house developer. He planned to develop a very big house that will have a mosque and a school in it. He planned it with straight determination. Before he begins, he put in writing. This is how it goes: I want to build a five story building, it will have a mosque and a school inside it. The school will be beside the mosque, I want to spend one year on it. Four month for building the main apartment, three month for mosque and the last three month for the school. That was how the man planned it. And he did it that way without adding anything to it. It took him a year to finish it according to what he has planned for. So it is good to plan for something before doing it. Straight determination is the best determination. I have explained more about determination in the second to the last chapter of this book .
