Delphi (XE..XE4) System Wide Keyboard Hook with focused control interrogation

Delphi (XE..XE4) System Wide Keyboard/Mouse Hook with focused window focused control interrogation on Windows XP..W8 x32, x64 platform. I want to run my XE3 application in the background and have another non related program running in the foreground. Upon key combination say Ctrl+F10 or Ctrl+LeftMouseClick etc. executed within the other non related program that is running in the foreground I want to read the current row text of an editbox/memoline/grid or stringgrid row. With the fetched text, lookup some detailed information (I will take care of this within my background application) and show a hint etc. relating to the text.
