Ensure all HTTP requests 301 redirect to their HTTPS equivalent. These redirects should be implemented on a "like for like" basis. Ensure all internal links point to the new HTTPS URLs. Update any hard-coded HTTP links to HTTPS. Update any third-party scripts/modules that are using HTTP requests - make sure nothing breaks/contains insecure content. Ensure all XML sitemaps are updated to the new HTTPS URLs. Ensure [login to view URL] directives are updated (if necessary). Test web forms. Ensure they work and an enquiry is received. Register HTTPS domains in Google Search Console (www and non-www). Ensure preferred domain is set. Submit XML Sitemap in Google Search Console. Resubmit disavow file on HTTPS domain (if used). Update default URL in Google Analytics. Check goal and ecommerce tracking works in Google Analytics. Check canonical tags have been updated to HTTPS. Request recrawl in Google Search Console. Annotate in Google Analytics when complete.
