My Thunderbird has a continual error - Thunderbird, IMAP and ‘server xxxxxxxx has disconnected. The server may have gone down or there may be a network problem.’
It is not a server issue. It is a Thunderbird issue - a setting or something that we cannot figure out.
Have uninstalled, reinstalled, tried everything.
The problem is in limited number of connections. Try this - go to Edit ->
Account settings -> $account -> Server settings -> Advanced ->
Maximum number of server connections to cache -> 2
