We have a new Vicidial system system and in our IVR when we press a digit to go to the next menu, there is a 6 second delay before the request is processed. This appear to be an issue with the configuration but I am unable to pinpoint where to fix this, so we are looking for a Vicidial expert that can assist. Will likely be a simple fix if you know where to look. If successful, will probably lead to additional work.

Hi there, Vicidial runs on top of Asterisk, and IVR is configured in Asterisk files. (/etc/asterisk/*). 6 seconds delay is very likely due to the below 2 things: 1. Overlapped IVR choices (i.e. you have 11 and 110, and when caller presses 11, asterisk needs to wait for defined time-out duration below, in order to tell which number it should dictate/use) 2. Digit time-out: set to 6 seconds. I can help fix that, and all other issues you may have. Most common extra issues that my customer is having, is the brute-force attack, if SIP 5060 is fully exposed to the pubic internet. Feel free to read my positive reviews, and let me know any questions you may have before we start. My work hour is 4PM-7PM EST (Canada time) weekdays, and flexible during weekend. Await your early positive response. Thank you and best regards, Bao
