I am looking for one female singer to sing ONE song and mix her voice to the original track (and also supply dry vocals). I do not wish to work with a team of people, but only ONE female singer that I can communicate with directly. This project is for $40 USD. All singers MUST be willing to put their full names on this project and receive full credit for their voice. I am attaching a sample of one song from the show, so that prospective applicants understand what style I am looking for. Singers must sing in rhythm, in tune, and with subtext. All words need to be clearly enunciated and understood. If you're interested in this project, please tell me your favorite musical in your application and also tell me what software you're using to mix your voice and adjust volume levels. I am an audio engineer and vocalist. I use Pro tools 11 for my audio recording and editing but I also have Ableton. My all time favorite musical is Westside story but I am also really into Rock Operas such as Hedwig and the Angry Inch. I listened to the MP3 and am confident in my abilities to sing, record and mix this song in 2 days. Hi. I would love to sing/record the song for you. I use the Producers edition of Sonar X1 for my audio recording and editing, so have many controls over the process to achieve the optimum outcome. I don't have a favourite musical, or music. There is too much good stuff around to narrow it down! But currently I am working on a song from the musical "Company" by Stephen Sondheim. His work is always very interesting. I have a range from about E below middle C to A 2 octaves above, I value clear diction, and cannot tolerate bad intonation or imprecise rhythm.
