small ms acccess vba/vb6 project

I have a hardware device which I need to retrieve a data string from. I have the hardware manual for it I also have sample code for it which is written in c# I have another code file sample also. this will need to be worked on my serial commuication so mscomm I also have a wrapper which is the same called netcomm. the is a simple and straight forward project, I can demonstrate the string using hyperterminal programme or you can simply convert the c# code into Ms access vba.
