Hello IIS is a function (Feature) of the Windows Version it's running on and is installed according to this. On Windows 7 Pro IIS runs as a single site mode (localhost) you cannot host multiple sites/subdomains directly on it but only as virtual sites/folders under the default site. There are also additional differences if attempting to use SSL or SMTP from site asp/aspx pages. Adding IIS/SQL Express to a local Win7 is fairly straight forward, however be aware that Sites using advanced aspx path related functions may need additional code added to detect the machine/versions they are running on - We use win7/IIS to develop all our ISS/ASPX based web code for porting to Server 2012/16 for production so are farmiliar with setting this developemnt environment up.
