Our hardware: - QCOM Snapdragon 820 chipset running Android 7.1. - Sony IMX378 MIPI-CSI camera module Objective: - Port the Google Pixel camera driver and HAL3 binaries to work on our hardware - Google pixel has QCOM Snapdragon 821 chipset and IMX378 module. - Snapdragon 821 has the same architecture, with increased processor speeds and some other additions. - One relevant change is the addition of Dual PDAF in the HAL in the 821. - If necessary, create "shim" to translate functions between hardwares - Provide files and instructions for our team to test driver and HAL3 port References [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL]
