Freelance Marketing Consultant for Small Non-Profit

Request: HAI Global ([login to view URL]) is seeking an experienced, senior-level Marketing consultant to work directly with the Executive Director and Director of Marketing in developing strategies and tactics to identify and attract more participants to our Love, Intimacy & Sexuality workshops. What We Already Do: In general, HAI attracts participants to workshops in several ways (in order of effectiveness): Word of mouth from satisfied participants (customers), especially our volunteers Free 2-hour mini-workshops, promoted through Meetup Groups, on our website calendar, and on our public Facebook page ([login to view URL]) Through our website - [login to view URL] - and search engines (SEO) Participation in “Health” fairs Occasional public speaking and writing opportunities Outreach at Pride Week activities and periodic “hug day” events Limited cross-linking with websites of participants (Tantra teachers, massage practitioners, coaches) Mentions in publications and books Yelp pages What We Are Looking For: HAI workshops are offered in Northern and Southern California, the Midwest, and the Northeastern US, as well as Canada, UK, Germany, and Australia. All HAI locations are surviving, but Canada, US-Southern California, and the US-Midwest are each struggling to fill their entry level workshops (Level 1: Love is A Miracle). The help we seek is for these locations, and, with their success, ultimately the entire HAI Global enterprise. We believe HAI’s single biggest opportunity for our growth is to expand our reach to qualified/interested leads, but recognize our need for help, advice and support to achieve this. Please note: as a small company, with very limited resources, we are not in a position to purchase leads or pay for wide-reaching advertisements or PR. The person we seek is someone who has: “guerrilla marketing” skills experience working directly with C-Level executives plain spoken (we want to be dazzled with brilliance not baffled by bs) a proven track record leveraging the Internet a proven track record in building leads for small organizations with limited budgets What we expect: Competitive Analysis Development of Marketing Strategy and tactics Benchmarks for performance Implementation Timetable Frequent contact with HAI management Term/Compensation: This is a part-time consultancy of uncertain duration, depending on cost and applicant’s recommendations.
