This is a complex project. Half or incomplete work will not be tolerated. The application must be created in Django. The server it will run on must be Ubuntu. Please read all the high-level details before bidding. I expect us to have design and documentation steps as part of this project. I want all of the project fully documented prior to start. This includes UML and dataflow diagrams.
1. This is a multi-customer facing web app.
2. The app is designed for a company, with multiple users.
3. A tiered permissions system is needed
4. There should be two primary accounts types with the following subtypes
a. Customer Users
i. Audit Only – Can only view data, cannot make any changes
ii. Analyst – Has ability to change data
iii. Administrator – Has ability to modify users for this customer only. Can modify billing. Must have at least one administrator
b. Global Administrator
i. Can add customers and customer administrators
ii. Set unique customer pricing options
iii. Offer periods of free usage for specific customers for specific durations
5. Must integrate with a payment APIs for monthly billing
6. There are a lot of people who auto respond without reading the bid. To ignore them, I will only respond if you put python as the first word in your response.
7. Backend integration
a. The entire portal is designed to allow customers to access a backend server that we have.
b. The server has a restful API that our web app can communicate to. The app should communicate constantly to push and pull job requests and data from the API to provide to the front end.
c. The portal will provide graph and data visualizations as well as metrics and statistics.
d. We will discuss more about the API as the project is solidified.
e. The backend server is NOT multitenant. So, it will be important that the front end is designed in a way to maintain customer data segregation.
