Hi there- I am in the end phase of obtaining a short-plat permit in King County, Washington. My land is zoned single family residential. I always planned on building 1 home per lot (4) and selling. However since labor and material cost has risen, I am now trying to see if there is a better use of my property. I am toying with some ideas- like adding a DADU to each lot and sell separately, or apply for density law permit that allows me to double the typical amount of dwellings on each lot, or do a fee simple for each lot, or possibly consider taking on affordable housing permitting to use state funds. I am in need of estimating skills as well- to know which option will produce the highest return. I would love help understanding if these options are possible or financially wise and I would greatly appreciate any further insight on this project! Thank you much, Emily
