Raspberry pi zero w python wifi or ap mode

I need a script that starts on launch of my raspberry pi. If it connects to a network I already have known then great. If there is no wifi connection then put the raspberry pi zero w in ap mode so I can connect to it as a wifi hotspot and connect to it via vnc viewer :) And keep looping this script once a minute or so to make sure it stay online or in ap mode if for some reason the internet goes offline it should pop back over to ap mode :) Thanks

We can use hostapd to act as a an ap. I am unable to figure out why you want the raspberry pi to flip flop between ap and non ap mode. I would rather have a raspberry pi as an ap and provide network connectivity. We can discuss on your use case and finish the work accordingly.
