Hello! So I have an easy job if anyone is interested. I have a short story that is only 7 pages long, 3,000 words or so, that I'm getting ready to publish soon as part of a collection, and the ending is driving me nuts! I have two different endings, both are very different from each other, and I can't decide which one to go with. So I'd like some more opinions (sooner, rather than later), and all I'm asking you to do is read it and message me back with your thoughts/opinion. I have a couple beta readers going through the whole book/collection now already, but I want to find out how they feel about it, as is, first, and also I'd like to get a few more opinions anyway. I thought I was happy with the ending I had originally, but then after some recent feedback, I decided to try taking it in a different direction, but I'm still not sure which is better. I want it to be the best it can be though! The story is just a simple slice of life/relationship piece (no action, no fantasy) that digs inside the mind of a now jealous wife who begins to suspect that her husband may be cheating on her, and the psychological toll it takes on her. If this doesn't sound like your thing, please don't apply. I need a reader that feels they would really enjoy reading something like this, not someone who's applying just to complete a quick easy job. Getting this ending right is very important to me. Oh, and, just for fun, if you read this entire project description and got to this part, then please show you read all of it by starting your proposal with the line "Got it!"
