Hey fellow RAC members,

I'm looking for an expert to help me with a Flash game, which will be based on a browser-based system.

I explain myself; In fact, you'll be in charge of coding a dynamic animation which will be displayed as the result of a battle between two users in the game. Since a picture is worth a thousand words, you can try this game [url removed, login to view] to better understand what I'm talking about.

## Deliverables

I'll be providing you with several sheets of 160x160 sprites to develop the animation - These are already done, so you don't need to do any artistic work (I've got a team of artists for this on my side). Attached screenshot is only an example (These are some sprites I found on the Net; Provided sprites will be ORIGINAL ones, so I'll ask you to sign a simple NDA if you bid is chosen, specifying all of the artworks you will use are my sole property, just to ensure the exclusivity of my content).

Since all battles are different, an ID would be passed to the Flash movie via its QueryString. When received, the Flash movie would load all of its variables from a script generating them according to the battle ID. You WON'T be in charge of this part of the project. Basically, what I'm looking for is that you implement the ID loading via QueryString, and then open the file (ID).txt in the flash movie folder to load its variables. It's as simple as that. You'll simply be in charge of defining the variables structure that will be used to display each sequence of the animation.

Now, what I want is that, according to these variables, a specific action in the battle will occur. The battle will start as a standard RPG fight, with a single opponent at each side of the screen (see attached screenshot - please not there are multiple characters on the screenshot, but for now, we'll use a single one for each of the two users taking part in the battle). According to the loaded variables (as explained previously), each of the opponent will attack, one after another, until one is dead. Multiple attacks are available, and it needs to be taken in consideration. I'm thinking about one movieclip for each attack or action, but it's up to you. Here is the list of all available actions:

- Idle

- Run/Dash

- Attack (Overhead)

- Attack (Mid)

- Magic

- Receive damage

- Death

It's also important to specify that I want a health points system to be used. So each time an opponent receives an attack, he lose HP. The first to fall under 0 HP dies... You get the picture. It's like every RPG on earth ;) You'll be in charge of implementing this system, as well as finding a way to display it on the animation.

Also, at the moment, there are 2 different character types at the moment, and each of them has 3 possible weapons, and one magic. You must determine which weapon will be used when first loading variables.

Basically, your loaded variables structure could look like this:

- Opponent #1 is using sword

- Opponent #2 is using spear

- Opponent #1 attacks (Opponent #2 receive damages)

- Opponent #2 attacks (Opponent #1 receive damages)

- Opponent #1 use magic (Opponent #2 receive damages)

- Opponent #2 attacks (Opponent #1 receive damages)

- Opponent #1 attacks (Opponent #2 receive damages)

- Opponent #2 attacks (Opponent #1 dies)

Pretty simple. But really, it's up to you.

You'll be in charge of the timing of all sequences in the animation. I want eveverything to be fluid and smooth - no flicker.

One last point you should consider; The battle area (See: scene) will be 800px X 450px.
