WOOCOMMERCE FUNCTIONALITY Situation: Our company will allow customers to order meals delivered twice a week (Mondays and Thursdays). The customer will be able to choose a number of meal types (ie Standard, Healthy, Vegetarian, etc) and then pay for a week or a month in advance. Every week the customer may choose from an available list of meals and decide which qty/dish will be delivered up to the subscribed plan. They will also decide what will be delivered on Monday and what will be delivered on Thursday, which will complete an order list for the staff to purchase the ingredients and deliver the orders on Mondays and Thursdays. The payments are automatic based on the QTY/meal type ordered and the customer will be updated when the order has been delivered. COMPANY STAFF MUST BE ABLE TO: - Add/edit/delete meals with a picture and describing basic ingredients. - Assign an associated type (ie Standard, Healthy, Vegetarian, etc) to each meal. - Define a list of locations that the customer can choose for delivery. - Contact all customers with subscriptions to let them select from the new meals added. - Finalize the orders to be cooked two days prior to delivery. This will allow the staff to purchase the ingredients needed. - Freeze the changes/orders on a specific point. This will allow the staff to order the ingredients needed for the ordered items. - Print a report of the items and QTY ordered. - Mark items as cooked/delivered CUSTOMERS MUST BE ABLE TO: - browse food items entered by staff. - sign up for an account. - Order food plans, via weekly or monthly selection. - Automatically be billed (via credit card) on recurring subscriptions. - Choose whether the food plan is a one time purchase or continuous subscription. - Select the specific food item and the QTY to max at the food plan ordered. The initial order will be for seven meals types (example: Standard/Vegetarian/Healthier) until filled with specific meals selected by the customer. Example, if they order a meal plan of 7 items for the week, the customer should be able to select up to seven meals from the available meals. They will be charged for the 7 items and the order will appear as the QTY and order type (example: Standard/Vegetarian/Healthier). - Choose which items are delivered on Monday and which items are delivered on Thursday. NOTE: The company staff must be able to easily identify (print a report) of what items are delivered Monday and which are delivered Thursday. - Can be notified to update their meal selections before the next delivery. - Choose if they want the meal delivered to a specific location (so they can pick it up) or delivered directly the customer. If the delivery is direct to the customer, there is an additional charge for the delivery. - Change their subscription meal QTY whenever needed in their profile. - Update their payment information. - See the status order of the delivery.
