Hi, I have a lot of experience with django development. The upgrade path isn't always easy, but can be done. I can start immediately. The duration is dependent on the size of the project, so I cant comment to much on that. Regards, JJ

Hey this sounds like a cool project, I can get this done in a few hours (the time it takes will depend exclusively on the amount of incompatibility of your code and dependencies with Django 1.8) and will be ready to start in about 45 minutes. I've done this kind of migration in the past so I'm familiar with the path to take. Also I'd recommend going to Django 1.11 as 1.8 has already run out of support (1.11 is LTS and will have security updates until April 2020), but the correct approach to get there is doing the intermediate upgrade, just keep in mind the safest step would be to start thinking about going to 1.11 asap.
