Hi, I have seen your requirement and you are looking for Twilio integration in your application which could be web based or android based mobile application (though not sure where the Gmail linkage will play role in between). About me I am a 10+ year experienced IT professional who has vast knowledge of architect and developing every kind of application. From last 3 years I am actively working on Telecom sector where I work with these SMS providers of different countries. I have vast experience of Twilio integration and from your case as a prerequisite you will needed Twilio account, LongCode or ShortCode to receive or send messages. Once we will have that then we need to create our API where Twilo will call our system if any message comes on our registered number on Twilio gateway and hence we can process that accordingly and send the outbound messages from the API provided by Twilio.
