I'm looking to collaborate with one or a couple programmers with an interest in retro gaming on a side gig. I'm looking into making bartop arcades ([login to view URL]) that run on RaspberryPi, but instead of using roms/emulators, I want to include some homebrew retro games. Games similar to Mario, Zelda, PACman, Space Invaders, Tetris, etc. There's a catch though that I will discuss with anyone interested in the project. Primarily looking for college students or hobbyists who also want a side gig.

I would love this side-gig. I am occupied by a machine learning job during my main time. I have tinkered with puny boards before to display graphics (just text etc) but never something big. A raspberry pi won't be the most optimal but perhaps the easiest to start with. A more optimal solution would utilise parallel computing to support 4K displays etc. There are puny GPUs for that.
