Port a library from Python to javascript (repost)

This is a nice tool [login to view URL] That can extract the parts of a video file name. For example, for a file like [login to view URL] It can tell that the TV show is "This is us", season 1, episode 7. Because it supports lots of things, it's not as trivial as split the string in components - it does have some regexp and lots of cases. Anyway, we need a javascript version. It can be a port of this or a rewrite, but it needs to be as good.
