I need a plugin for wordpress able to import YouTube video public statistics (viewCount, likeCount, dislikeCount, favoriteCount, commentCount, from [login to view URL]) and sets these data as custom fields for every blog post that includes almost one YouTube video, if more than one video is present in a post, the plugin will use the first one. I need shortcodes to access this data.
The plugin appears in TOOLS menu of backend, the blogs administrators can set Youtube API key, can choose which posts the plugin enriches with statistics on the base of posts categories and/or types. The plugin allows to personalise the name of custom fields in order to override custom fields values that already exist and are used by some WP template. The import process is activated by a button but the plugin runs as WP cron too and administrators can set when the job starts (ex: every day at 03.00 am). A button to refresh statistics for a single post must be provided too.
