I need a linux distro made that will support a very light weight desktop similar to ubuntu. This needs to be a very very basic build. I want to brand this with my own boot up splash screen. When we are done making the disto I want to make an image to deploy this to a few machines. A few things that it will need to support is the following: - Web Browser - Terminal - Openssh-Server - Conky This server will be used for just a CPU benchmarking machine. We stress test CPUS for different applications. I have a 4x CPU ubuntu server we can use to compile on and another server we can test the distro on.
