Lead Game Developer - 102675

We are looking for a Lead Game Developer to help us develop our cross- platform mobile and Steam multiplayer games for our studio in Barcelona, in a friendly, collaborative and innovative environment. You will work closely with the studio Management and the production team, to deliver a best-in-class user experience and you will lead the work of your game developers to establish and deliver project goals. As the Lead developer you have deep knowledge of the whole software engineering tech, great planning and analytical skills, and have a great understanding of what it takes to deliver a top game, apart from having great team leadership skills and be able to work with other team leads.    Job Description • Passion for mobile games or games in general and software development. • Able to work in a flexible and startup environment, where the job will evolve as the projects grow. • At least 6 years in games development and having taken games to completion as a programmer. • At least 2 years of proven experience leading teams of developers, 3 to 5 people. • Experience in C++ mobile games. • Proper compilation of all technical documentation ensuring the quality, effectiveness and appropriateness of all the game code. • Share best practices and learnings with other team members. • Be an active source for game creation and specification process.    Bonus skills: • Experience in Unity3D, a plus • Experience on Steam, a plus • Experience in action strategy games, a big plus • Knowledge of databases and back-end technologies • Experience in managing subcontractorsA detailed knowledge of the mobile games market and current consumer expectations. A true team-player; ability to work as part of a team in a SCRUM environment. Experience with Facebook and Twitter APIs Speaking or understanding Spanish is a plus, but not a must. Education and Training: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar, computer game development post-graduate.
