Laravel Horizon on Macos Catalina

I am trying to deploy Laravel Horizon on macos with the command composer require laravel/horizon i get then the problem: Problem 1 - laravel/horizon[v5.4.0, ..., 5.x-dev] require ext-pcntl * -> it is missing from your system. Install or enable PHP's pcntl extension. - Root [login to view URL] requires laravel/horizon ^5.4 -> satisfiable by laravel/horizon[v5.4.0, 5.x-dev].
