Braintree Integration We are seeking a Braintree API specialist to develop some tools to allow us to take multiple payment methods via different processes along with automated recurring billing and backend controls to facilitate easy management of these. Our payments are focused around therapy sessions. These occur weekly at the same time (although there are exceptions) and we are looking to automate the payment of these using Braintree. The client will be charged once the therapist confirms (via our mobile app) that the session is repeating the following week. Ideally, we would be able to use client payment details stored from their previous session (within Braintree). If there are any payment issues, these can then be dealt with in a timely fashion prior to the next session by our admin team. We require a tool to allow new clients to pay for their initial session via our web site booking process (via card/PayPal - perhaps more options too) and for this to become a repeating payment plan. The payment would need to be successful in order to complete the booking. This tool is almost complete, excluding the integration with Braintree. We also require a tool to allow us to amend or stop these payment schedules via our systems (of which there are two; a PHP-developed mobile calendar/management system and a FileMaker WebDirect administration system). Finally, we will also require a tool to request payment via a dedicated web page which clients will be directed to via an email. This would predominantly be used for existing clients who currently pay after their session who we would like to move to paying in advance or who have had payment declined. However, it could be used to request alternative payment should a automated recurring process fails. All of the above will require tools to notify us if a payment method is expiring or there is an issue taking the funds so that we can take the appropriate action (either manual or automated). It would also be advantageous if we could have a one-time option to take payments over the phone through our systems or via a web page accessible only to our admin team on our web site. Our web server uses PHP and our other system is built using FileMaker. We have developers available for both of these systems who will be available to assist at every step.
