Fix 404 pages in 2 Wordpress sites

I have recently created 2 Wordpress websites and both are live. According to Redirection plugin and Yoast SEO plugin (Search Console), there are 3 kinds of many hidden 404 error pages/links that need to be removed or fixed.
You will need experience solving "404" and "301" issues in Wordpress and be able to help with these 3 issues.
A. One issue is "404" links ending in /mailto. How are these being created, how can they be removed and prevented from occurring again?
B. Second issue is "404" links from an old site which I want to close down properly.*
C. Third issue is just random "404" and "500" errors.
Website#1. [login to view URL] (which is a brand new site):
Found via Yoast plugin as Redirection plugin is newly installed so may not have found 404's yet (but I fear may find more):
A. -- 77 x "404" links not found (all ending in /mailto).
C. -- 1 x "400" link /wp-admin/[login to view URL]
Website#2. [login to view URL] (which is replacing an old site*):
Redirection plugin (has been installed for 2 months) found:
A. -- 319 x "404" links not found (all ending in /mailto)
B. -- 5,375 x "404" links (mainly from the old site)
-- I have already created 99 x "301" redirections of old pages I knew existed
Yoast plugin found:
B. -- 192 x "404" links (mainly from the old site)
B. -- 3 x "500" links (from the old site)
* The original site was hosted at IP [login to view URL] but I duplicated it and provided new URL [login to view URL] to our server IP 149.28.172.247. I believe the original site no longer has a domain name pointing to it (but I may be wrong). In the 404 error links there is another website [login to view URL] which I hope you can help me delete also.
