The aim of the project is to create a platform that can be used to connect Facebook pages to our content driven website. A simple explanation is that we will control two platforms:
-A website that we write content for which is driven by advertising
-A backend user platform where a subscriber can control how they use the feature
The process will work as follows. We will write daily content for the website to build a massive data base of content for consumers to engage with. An admin of a Facebook page will subscribe to our service and be given an account. Within this account they can control their use over our content. The aim is to get our content linked to their facebook page, so there is a click through rate that maximises clicks into ad revenue. The revenue is then split between us and the subscriber.
The platform will have features that make it appealing to the user such as auto posting, scheduled posting, manual posting, posting certain categories of artiles and excluding others, posting content that isn’t click based but aimed at increasing engagement and likes and also revenue and analytical data.
The main selling point is that instead of an admin writing their own content, they subscribe to us, use our content with minimal effort but set to their specifications and can generate high revenue through advertising.
A similar model we are aiming to better is viral spots/lolspots. Viral spots ([url removed, login to view]) is the content based website (the app is based at [url removed, login to view] if you are able to use one of your pages to see how it works). Lolspots ([url removed, login to view]) is the main platform they use to promote the business to potential users.
The first step needed is for an account to register. We’d like them to be able to register with their facebook account and once they’re in, for the main dashboard to list the pages they are an admin of (perhaps based on some parameters such as number of likes etc).
We’d like to make it so that the user will have to create a facebook app so this is used as the method of posting for their images and links.
Once an account is set up, I’d like to aim for the same style layout as in ereprice. So far we have 3 main tabs.
Main Dashboard: Display statistics (total posts made today, total clicks, total Riverview for previous day – Total revenue)
Image Posting: At the top of the section should be a tab with the option to set posting to automatic or manual. Automatic will open up all options, manual will freeze out some options.
Below this should be a section that gives further information on automatic scheduling. The first option should be the hours between which scheduling takes place (eg. 8am-9pm) set by the user, the second should be the frequency which posts are scheduled (eg. 1 hour, 2hr etc). If a user selects manual posting at the top, this should be visible still, just not able to be used.
The next section should be a list gallery of images on our database. When clicked, there should be three options, add to schedule & post now &remove from selection. (similar to the grid image below) There should be an option below this grid to upload your own image. It is important that we offer the ability to narrow the criteria of images (and content for links). So there should be a tick feature that includes categories as an option (so for example if a user wanted sports & humour but not news images/content, they would untick news and those images/content would go away).
The final section should be the Scheduler section which shows what is to be posted and when.
Link posting: This is similar to image posting but will focus on publishing links that drive traffic to the website.
This should be the same as above except replace the ‘upload’ feature with a ‘submit an article’ feature that we then moderate.
