Experienced PHP Developer Required
Budget $25-50 AUD / hour
We are looking for a talented and experienced PHP developer that that preferably lives in Australia, who can handle all operations of web development with our website, and furthermore believe in our vision at becoming the best in the world at what we do.
The Role:
You will be required to build new features, troubleshoot issues, integrate advanced API's and other features all while making performance the number one priority. We are looking for someone to bring knowledge of new technologies that can change the way we operate and give us the edge over our competitors, as well as help us scale up to 10 million unique visitors a day.
The successful applicant will be:
- Responsible for taking control of our front end and back end development, you will be the lead programmer in charge of all operations
- Design and UI/UX orientated is a huge bonus
-Keeping up to date with the latest technologies to allow us to innovate and stay ahead of our competition
- Demonstrating a strong work ethic and a desire to help us expand and become the number one in our market
- Dedicated to writing clean, efficient, highly scalable code
- Proven to have excellent communication and documentation skills
Essential Skills Required:
- PHP (Advanced Level)
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- Ajax
- Wordpress
- MySQL and MariaDB
- Laravel Framework Knowledge
- Knowledge of building Scalable Web Applications while minimising server resource usage
- Knowledge of Advanced API integration
- Excellent customer service
- Troubleshooting / Problem solving
- Well presented and fluent English skills
- Proven ability to self manage and deliver projects on time and without the sacrifice of quality
Desirable Skills (Not Essential but a Bonus)
- Knowledge of Cryptocurrencies, blockchain and mining
- Knowledge of C, C++ Code is not essential but a huge bonus
- User Interface Design Skills / Photoshop
- Knowledge of PHP 7.0 and CSS 3.0
- WebAssembly, Emscripten & WebSockets
- Knowledge of FFMpeg
- Linux Command Line
- Experience with JS frameworks (NodeJS, Angular, React)
- 5 Years+ Previous Experience
We are looking at taking someone on contract basis for 3 months, extendable to 6 to 12 months depending on your performance.
