Develop standalone secure system to verify product authenticity by codes (then output embeded code checker on any website)

FULL PROJECT DESCRIPTION link: [login to view URL] We need to develop system to verify product authenticity. Each product will have a sticker label with a unique QR code. At the beginning clients will write the code in our page manually. When the correct code is written client sees: 1. Your product is AUTHENTIC 2. How many times and exactly when the code has been checked previously Most important thing is security, these codes must be safely stored as big part of our brand reputation depends on this. How to store them and where? How will they be checked against the database? Codes must be generated randomly so there is no way that someone can buy 10 products from us and try to find a way to generate them. Some companies have this "check page" on their main domain, some has it on separate domain. It could be a security reason, if the main site is blocked by authorities or some hacker, the check page continues to work independently. Some security system needs to be available. Like captcha if more that 2-3 unsuccessful code attempts are made. Additional feature that we would like to incorporate if its possible and easy. We would like to know from which country the code has been checked. Maybe you can use code system that already developed by some other CMS and cusomize or integrate it.
