I currently have my own desktop software which scrapes the TABnz website for price movements and I use these in my software to analyse markets and trade on Betfair using the Betfair API! I coded this in VB.NET using SQL Databases and it is currently all automated, I simply select all the races I would like to monitor and away it goes. In terms of background in software, I have a Diploma in Software Engineering and Design which I completed in 2014. Depending on your specifications, how much data is required to be taken from the website, how much is needed to be recorded in a database and how to analyze this data, this project could take me from 5 to 21 days to complete, as well as testing and ensuring there are no issues. I am happy to work with you to develop a desktop application, coded in VB.NET using SQL and databases, based on your specifications and algorithms to automate this process for you. I am also happy to provide ongoing support after the project is finished to ensure smooth running of your software. If you have to run the analysis manually by clicking on few cells in excel then let me know. Below is my solution to automate the current manual process: 1. Copy data from site via PHP/shell scripts 2. I'm expertise in regular expression, which mean data analysis and extraction won't be a problem for me. 3. Once the refined data copy is ready, Excel macro(I can write VBA) will be executed to populate the predefined spreadsheet.
