Hello! I'm looking for someone who's able to make a very small page for me. Essentually, I need a loading GIF to be displayed while a Python script is being executed. Once the Python script is finished gathering the information, the data has to be displayed and the loading GIF has to go away. Keep in mind that this will later on be used on a different site and on multiple places and that has to work, i.e., the page has to fully load while running the scripts. I don't want the page to be loading for the duration of the running scripts. This is why I want the loading gifs.

Hi. I honestly don't know Python scripting as I work only with core PHP, but it seems to me that the part which needs to be worked out is the javascript (client part of the AJAX process). Basically, just display the GIF whenever an AJAX sends out request to server, and hide it whenever AJAX has received a (success / erroneous) response from server. If multiple AJAX requests/responses are required, then I'd usually queue them i.e. send new request ONLY after previous response has been received. Am i close? Let me know further about it... Warm regards, Hendra D.
