I require online software to manage a Loyalty Card program for multiple Merchants sharing the same program/card.
Brief Overview
In short , once a Shopper has obtained and activated a Loyalty Card, they may claim offers offered by any participating Merchant by presenting the card to the Merchant. The Merchant then processes the claim online and transaction is recorded and stored.
The program will need to provide for:
1. user logins
- Shoppers
- Merchants
- Admin
2, ability for Shoppers to
a) create/edit an account profile
b) register & activate cards through website.
c) search for Local Merchants (by postcode or suburb)
d) search for Local Offers, posted by Merchants
3. ability for Merchants to
a) create/edit an account profile
b) create and edit/delete various discount/special offers; these could be
i) percentage discount
ii) buy x get 1 free,
iii) spend x receive y
iv) accumulate points
etc.
c) validate Loyalty Card when Shoppers claims an offer and process the claim.
d) request reports
i) list of offers claimed etc with filtered results
ii) list of Shoppers
4. Administrator Panel
a) Admin must be able to perform all functions that Shoppers and Merchants can do
plus request some additional reports about Shoopers, Merchants and Transactions (ie. Offeres claimed)
b) Admin must have ability to create, approve, edit, delete all things
c) Admin must be able to edit or reset passwords
d) Admin must be able to download backup of database
In addition the program should have facility to flag and display featured offers managed by Admin.
Program should me modular to allow for easy expansion or modification.
Program should be secure.
