When do you need this project called "Detect a virus in wordpress website" up and running? or is this ongoing work? I'm an experienced software engineer and designer. 7AM - 7PM EST available on skype available on phone located in the US

I can fix it and find out how the hackers got in, remove any backdoors and patch that and teach you how to make sure your wordpress version is up to date, plus leave setting in place to fix any future problems (sometimes your version may be up to date but wordpress may not have issued a fix). I will need your log files on the server to see where the hackers have been. SSH access to the server is very important ftp can be done but will not provide future security. I am a little more expensive but long term it's worthwhile. Oh and I've been doing this for 20+ years I just had to reopen my account as I had an issue with an employer not paying me after trying to hire me to do illegal work. I will work on any site as long as it does not break the laws in the UK.
