Hi, I understand that you want to build an online database that will capture information about patients visits to a sickbay and medications prescribed to them. We will design and develop a web portal along with a backend database. The web portal will have simple easy to understand forms to input the patient details like name, address, symptoms, diagnosis, prescribed medications tc. It will also have and admin dashboard using which you can review all the data from database. You can generate reports and download the data in excel or pdf format. You can also manage the stocks of the medicines so that sickbay can see the stocks available or not while prescribing. I have before developed EMR software so I have knowledge in this. Hey, There are more than one ways to design and develop the kind of database you need. We could do it in Access (since you already seem to have something in VB) or we could also migrate the entire system to a PHP/MySQL portal. Is this system to be used by multiple people and to be used online? If yes, PHP/MySQL would be best. If it is to be used on a desktop computer, Access would be best.
