CakePHP Developer Wanted

[login to view URL] is looking to hire a part-time CakePHP developer with MySQL knowledge. This is an opportunity to work on an excellent service that WILL help people while building your profile on oDesk.

This is an ideal job for:

1) CakePHP Developer with MySQL experience - We're looking for experienced CakePHP developer with some MySQL database knowledge who can hit the ground running.

2) Computer science students - If you're a CPSC student and looking to gain some real work experience, you'll enjoy this too. As long as you're a quick learner and have some experience with CakePHP and MySQL you could do well.

3) New developers on oDesk - If you're new to oDesk and looking to build some rapport on the vibrant community filled with opportunities then this is for you - get the review you need on here and get some hours clocked on your profile. Use us as your reference. You have experience elsewhere though no history on oDesk; send in your resume.

What you'll be doing:

- You'll be adding new features and making sure our API works.

- You'll be creating tests and making them pass. I'll provide detailed user stories that you should convey into test cases and ensure that they pass.

- You'll be working with CakePHP and MySQL (in case it wasn't clear)

Ps. I am willing to change the FrameWork if you're more experience with another FrameWork should you be able to justify why the framework you want to use (like Ruby) might better in the long term than CakePHP (CakePHP was the recommendation of the initial developer and we thought it worked.)
