==== SENSORS->ADC->RaspberryPi === Create a data acquisition system for multiple analog sensors using Raspberry Pi - ADS1262 is a Analog-to-digital converter IC with 11 input pins. Use 8 of them to connect to 4 differential input analog sensors (thermocouple, RTD, pressure sensors etc). - Connect the ADC to Raspberry pi using SPI - you could use C or Php or Java - Should be able to set gain/offset for individual sensors and do any conversion programatically - Log the data within RaspberryPi (format: TIMESTAMP, SENSOR_ID, SENSOR_VALUE) in a flat file or a simple database like Mysql or sqlite. Minimum sample rate expected = 2 readings for each sensor per second (we will also reimburse if you could purchase the ADS1262 IC locally, we believe you could reuse your RPi) Please go through the datasheet at [login to view URL] and express your comfort level. I have done several similar projects based on interfacing the Pi to SPI and I2C devices. I have all the hardware available on hand, except the A/D, which may take several days to acquire. The Coding can be started without that, and tested once one is acquired.
