Retrieving information from Second Life via PHP

Second Life is a well-known MMORPG game.
Once you have an account and done transactions with other players, you can download from Second Life website the list of your transactions and parse them into a MYSQL database since it can be retrieved in XML format. A transaction reflects the object/money you sent or received from other players.
Currently, when you want to upload your transactions, you need first to log manually in Second Life website (avatar name, password), and either go to the transactions page or type “[url removed, login to view];date_end=2009-09-24&type=xml&include_zero=yes” if you want to download the transactions dated 2009-09-24.
Nevertheless, it seems possible to download and parse the transaction automatically without any human interactions via PHP/Curl, as indicated here at end of the page “[url removed, login to view]”.
The job consists to write the PHP/Curl script that retrieve the transactions from Second Life website automatically and parse them into a MYSQL database. The source code of the login page of Second Life and an example of a XML file are given in the attachement.
