Update previously modified WP Directory plugin

Some months ago I had the Business Directory plugin for Wordpress modified to allow the entries to be sorted by a specific date field. Since then, the plugin creators have updated the plugin and I need the modifications transferred to the new version of it and proven to work as designed. I have version 2.2 and the current one is 3.1.1.
