Overview: Need a Coder for Word Press Plugin Creation Hello, I'm looking to build a Wordpress Plugin that will allow users to have articles written (by my team of professional writers) and automatically inserted in their blog as a draft or as a post. The Goal: Currently, there are auto blogging wordpress plugins and outsourced article writing services. However, there are no Wordpress plugins where you can have an article outsourced, written by a human, and automatically posted to your blog. You either have to get an autoblogging software and deal with poor quality content, or you have to manually move articles from the article writing service to wordpress. Both have disadvantages. My goal is to create a plugin that allows users to set up their outsourced article writing from within wordpress and have handwritten content automatically added to their blog. Who You Are Working With: My name is Mike Burngasser, and I've been marketing online for about 2 years. I'm not a coder, but I know what I'm doing when it comes to Internet Marketing. Most importantly, I will NOT be micro-managing this project. My goals are to have a bug-free working Wordpress plugin that gets the job done. We can improve the plugin later as the customer base increases. I prefer to work via email, and prefer the least number of annoying revisions. My last website project was a wordpress theme that was completed with 1 revision (all minor changes). If you build a working plugin that does the job, I'll be happy with it. We'll add bells and whistles in a later project. Future Work: I will be marketing this plugin heavily to the internet marketing community (a starving market), and will be using a very lucrative affiliate program to get on some of the top Marketer's lists. Since this is a recurring commission product, it should be very enticing for potential JV partners. What does this mean to you? Well, it means that this may become a 7-figure business. If it does, you can be sure that there will be a TON of programming work coming your way. I know one marketer that has his programmer (and the programmer's team) booked solid for the next 12 MONTHS straight. And this is just one plugin... So, if you are interested in being part of coding this plugin, read on for details.... User Perspective: From a wordpress blog owner perspective, the website owner would log into their Wordpress admin panel and place specific keyword(s) into this plugin. If the customer is optimizing their site for the keyword “Shitzu obedience training” they would simply enter this keyword into the article plugin. They would also have a form field to add details about the article. For example, the customer could say “this article is a presell for XYZ ClickBank product. Please provide a quick overview of the product and place my link [login to view URL] at the end of the article”. A few days later a hand written article would be automatically posted (or drafted) to their blog. This article would be human written by my team of professional writers. It would contain all the required pictures, links, and text that the customer asked for. The number of “credits” the customer has in their account would decrease by the cost of that article. From in the wordpress admin panel the customer could repeat the process; pick out a new type of article (300 words, 500 words, 700 words, etc.) and fill in their options (Keyword, Details, Picture, etc.). Their credits would decrease, and the process would start over again (we write another article, post it to their blog, etc.) Information Forwarding: When the customer (the wordpress blog owner) enters their keyword(s) and article information into the plugin, the plugin would have to forward this information to me and my team, where we would write the article and upload it to their blog. We would need to forward information out of the customer's Wordpress blog to our site (where the articles are managed) and we would have to forward the finished articles (with all links and pictures) from our website back into their wordpress blog to be posted as a live post or a draft post. In the beginning (if it's simpler and faster to code) we could send customer information to us via email (much like a standard wordpress contact form) and we could log into their site manually to add the article. Later on, it would be ideal if me and my team could have a separate wordpress plugin so we could manage these articles from our own separate wordpress site. For now, I'm just looking to build the plugin that goes on the customer's site. However, it is important that we can post to the customer's website without them having to do any extensive setup. One idea is to have this plugin automatically make a new user on their blog and one of my writers can log in to post articles. The bottom line is that the customer should be able to simply install the plugin, add their email/password (within the plugin page), and get started. The customer should not have to reprogram their server, manually add wordpress users, change htaccess files, or anything even remotely difficult. If this plugin is difficult to set up, customers will simply not use it. More customers means more business for me and you! Billing: Customers will go to our website to purchase “credits” (similar to purchasing photos from istockphoto). These credits will be used to buy articles within their admin panel. The credit cost of each article will NOT have to change within wordpress, and this will be a simple static coding (Example: a 500 word article will always be 5 credits within the admin panel). The number of credits the customer currently has on their account will show up within their wordpress admin panel. When they purchase an article this number of credits will decrease. When they purchase more credits on our website, the number of credits in their admin panel will increase. You could have a simple database on our server that keeps track of customer credit amounts and updates when they have an article written or purchase more credits through our shopping cart. Layout: The layout should be as simple as possible to start. I was thinking within the user's wordpress admin panel this plugin could be a single page. At the top would be a section to put in the customer's email and password. This would link to our database and see how many credits the customer currently has. It would display their current number of credits. Here is an example of the customer options: (All you would have to do is have the plugin forward whatever options the customer selected to me and my team (maybe via email). This would be as easy as programming a contact form script, or using an existing script) 300 Word Article (3 Credits) [radio button] 300 Word Article with Picture (4 Credits) [radio button] 500 Word Article (5 Credits) [radio button] 500 Word Article with Picture (6 Credits) [radio button] 700 Word Article (7 Credits) [radio button] 700 Word Article (8 Credits) [radio button] Weekly E-Mails tracking the search position for this keyword in Google, Yahoo, and Bing (94.59% of all Search Traffic) for 6 months (Add 1 Credit) Backlinks! Add 1 separate human spun article, insertion of 2 article links (with specific anchor text) and Distribution of the spun article to 200+ Sites (Add 10 Credits) [check box] High PR Backlinks! 30 High Page Rank (PR5-9) Forum Profiles Pointing to Your Article (Add 20 Credits) [check box] Backlinks Massacre! Add 10 human spun articles, insertion of 2 article links (with specific anchor text) and drip-feed distribution to 1500+ sites over 1 month! (Includes submissions to My Article Network (MAN), Unique Article Wizard (UAW), Article Blueprint (AB), and SEO Link Vine (SLV) = $206 in monthly membership fees for these services alone) (Add 100 Credits) [check box] Below this section would be the following form fields: Article Topic (Be Specific) ________________________________________ Targeted Keyword ________________________________________ (Optional) What do you want the customer to do after reading this article? (E-Mail Signup, Buy a Product, Read More Articles, etc.) ________________________________________ (Optional) Other Information we should know ________________________________________ ________________________________________ At the bottom of the page would be the total number of credits selected and a “Buy Now” Button. After the forms are filled out and the button is pushed the customer would be taken back to the top of the page and there would be a box that says “Success, your article request is sent and will be written soon! If you have another keyword to target or article to submit, use the form below again.” The page would be cleared off, the updated number of credits on account would be displayed, and the customer could enter another article order. Overall: I imagine the most difficult part of programming this plugin will be posting to the customer's blog and updating their available credits within their admin panel. The rest of the information transmitted is done over a fancy contact form! Plus, this plugin really only should be a single page for now. We can add more pages and features in the future when the market demands it. For now, I am simply looking to release this product and beta test it to verify that everything works properly. Then after the full product launch I will start considering a bunch of potential upgrades. To Apply as a Programmer: I will be submitting this proposal to multiple outsourcing sites, and if you're interested in being the coder for this project just contact me through the ScriptLance Message Board and let me know the following: 1. How you think you will complete this project. What areas of the coding will be trouble and which ones will be easy to do? 2. Send some examples of past wordpress plugin work, preferably with similar elements and features to this plugin. 3. Give me an estimated cost of this initial project. 4. Let me know the estimated time to completion for this project. Please be realistic as to how long you think it will actually take. I really appreciate you taking the time to read through all this. I hope to hear from you soon :) ~Mike Burngasser Apercu Publishing
