The scope of this project is for a load testing tool. The architecture consists of various Azure roles. There will be worker roles that generate the requests that are to be sent to the REST API that are housed in Web Roles. We will be able to scale up the number of worker roles to generate more traffic and requests to the REST API.

The REST API returns XML that consists of a business object that represents a coupon. However, the tool can be used to test any type of REST API.

There will be a front client application in Silverlight that will control all of the load tests. The Silverlight application will be able to control the number of worker roles. It will be able to increase them to increase the number of requests to the REST API.

Performance information will be collected at all the web roles and in a central worker role that will aggregate all of the performance information and then in return stream that performance information to the Silverlight client.

More detailed requirements will be handed to hammer down the scope of this project.

We can contact on Skype to discuss the details of the technology and scope.

Cheers,

Jeff
