We have an application which has integrated the UPS tracking tool (see ups online tools at [login to view URL]). This project will be to add on to that. The project must be done in Delphi 7. This project will be to: A) Integrate the UPS rates and service tool B) Integrate the UPS security elements tool (allows users to get username and password from UPS) C) Make sure that the tracking tool (already completed) is done correctly D) Test all 3 tools using self testing mechanisms from UPS. UPS has very clear manuals explaining how to use all of their tools They also have very clear rules about their usage. It is crucial that the coder read and follow all rules and regulations from UPS for this project. Included in the UPS documentation is a self test check list. This must be filled out. ALL of the UPS integration rules must be followed including placement of their logo etc. We are expecting the final application to be completely ready for UPS testing. After completion the application will be sent to UPS for testing. The coder will be responsible to fix any problems or issues that UPS requires from this testing. The developers guide and the manuals for the different tools are attached. Read the integration requirements page from the UPS developer manual, it mentions the skills required to implement this project. The manual for tracking will also be provided but is not attached. The application, which will be provided, already contains the UPS tracking tool and GUI for it. The GUI for the other tools can follow this GUI or both can be changed if a better proposal is approved. The tool uses devexpress components. If you do not own devex then we can provide it (for use in this project only) however please mention this in your bid. Coder should start by making a GUI. The GUI must then be approved by us. The coder should then draft the object model (nothing fancy just use a text editor) and submit it for approval. Coder must sign an NDA \ Software agreement before work can begin.
