I have a CSS based website with content that is PHP driven. The PHP isn't so important but the template will need to be designed with the knowledge of how the template will be applied. -- I am looking only for creative web designers who understand the principles behind what makes a web page look good. you MUST have examples of past work to show your ability to complete this project in full -- This includes a strict CSS layout with minimal to no HTML elements. All code MUST be w3 verified [login to view URL] [login to view URL] the HTML doctype must be "strict" of the latest version (i beleive 4.01 so it would be this doctype) the template should be tested in multiple browsers especially IE and firefox You will need to be expierenced with graphic design, the design should have a minimal amount of graphics to yield lower loading times, but use your judgement. Colors are also very important. They need to be appealing and easy to read --Very Important--. Certain elements of the page i will require to be text based to be easy for me to modify (for instance I may add in more menu elements over time, or change them and I would like to just change the text in the template and not a graphic) This will be explained better to the winning bidder The website that is being redesigned is small-medium sized. You will not be recreating the website but creating a template for me to use for all the pages. There will be certain minor requests for the content of the pages (ie redoing some banner graphics I have within the content areas) This is easy to figure out by looking at the website, I can point stuff out if you are not sure. The target audience for this website is from 15-30 years of age, and aimed towards people who play video games online. The services it provides is game/voice server hosting, as well as other game related services such as a web based control panel, game addon file hosting, and mini-tournaments. All game related. So it will need to be fun looking for the slightly younger, but not over the top for the slightly older visitors.. For examples [login to view URL] has quite the layout real flashy and bubbly, while [login to view URL] is slightly toned down more. I would like to have a cross between these 2 styles. The page must also be fast loading, so this means miminal graphics. Also I do not want any flash or javascript elements, or anything that can be turned off and destroy the functionality of the design. Which is why i say that it shold be strictly CSS and HTML. You may have noticed I did not post the URL to the website being recreated. I did not want to publicly post it. I ask that you PMB me with examples of your work and I will respond with the URL of the website you will be recreating, at that time you should bid on the project. I am choosing to do it this way so I know that whoever i choose to win actualy cares for this project and is not just going through and bidding on everything they come across. If you bid before PMBing me examples of your work you will NOT BE CONSIDERED. We are still generally a new company but are willing to spend money on a good layout that we will be able to stick with for a while. The designer should be able to upload the design to their own server space to a) show me work as they progress through the project and b) let me see the final product before sending money. If you do not have your own server to show me work as you make progress you should not bid, I need to see the work as it is being done to make sure it is goingin the right path and I can comment in on details that may have been misunderstood etc
