Magento Changes

Hello, We have recently upgraded [login to view URL] from OpenCart to Magento and we are having some issues with the theme we have. We want to make some customizations to the theme. I will highlight the changes as follows: -We would like to have a featured product slider that is easy for the client to manipulate - she should be able to click an attribute on products that says "Featured Product" which will display it on the website. It should also have a start date and end date so that she doesn't have to go back to remove it. It should display a thumbnail of the featured product, an excerpt of its description, the price, an add to cart button and a learn more button. You can see the old slider on the previous website, the client is very fond of this, [login to view URL] -We would like the "New Product" slider with the existing theme expanded to two rows of four products across, with arrows which advance all of them more smoothly. The visuals included with this theme only allow one row of text, if there is a long product title it pushes the box down and makes parts of it not visible. We would like the boxes to be big enough to accomodate long titles. Right now it is also very "clunky". When the arrow is clicked, it only advances one product. We would like it to keep advancing, smoothly, so that the customer doesn't have to keep clicking. -The search function in Magento doesn't return relevant results - we would like this function to be tweaked so that it returns results that are actually relevant. -My client likes the flashing "Weekly Ad" graphic they have at [login to view URL] - we would like something done so that the "Weekly Ad" button on the website stands out more. We tried using the "blink" HTML code but that isn't supported in most browsers. Please see attached mockup so that you can get a visual idea of what we are looking for. If you contact her directly or try to communicate off of Freelancer we will report you and absolutely not consider you for the project. If you do a good job we will definitely have future work for you as this client makes frequent changes to her website.
