We require SEO services to advise and implement techniques which will help improve our google and yahoo search engine organic rankings. We have a flash website, [login to view URL] which we built using [login to view URL], a free flash design program. I understand that Flash is not optimal for google and other search terms, but Wix claim that their technology makes it optimal for search engines, and that pages can be indexed fine, and it should not be a problem. Our requirement is simple. We want to get on the first page of google search for the following terms: things to do in melbourne dance classes dance school dance studio salsa salsa dancing salsa dancing melbourne salsa classes salsa classes melbourne free activities in melbourne where to go in melbourne etc We know the following basics of SEO; 1. Having incoming links from reputable and related websites helps 2. Having more text content, with the keywords included helps 3. Submitting the site to google, google businesses, maps, google images, google videos, youtube etc, helps 4. regular updates on your site helps 5. meta tags, page titles, etc 6. We must avoid any unwanted SEO tactics, ones which are not permitted by google, etc. We have committed to using flash, and in particular, Wix, for our website. Please do not suggest changing it, as we have already considered the advantages and have decided not to change it. We are only looking for expertise above and beyond the points I have listed. At this stage we are considering engaging 2 or 3 different SEO companies to advise us and implement any strategies they are suggesting. Having more than one company would be desirable as; a) it ensures we cover all bases and get more ideas b) creates some healthy competition **We have recently engaged a company who specialises in directory, article and social bookmarking submissions, and are more specifically looking for companies who do services OTHER THAN THAT.
