Project: Add a buy cart/form to an existing shopping cart. We are seeking bids to add a buy cart/form to our existing online store. The buy cart will show a list of items we are interested in buying and allow the consumer to fill in the qty they have to sell us and submit the list to us. operational details. As an example we will use DVD movies, but the actual products we deal with are not DVDs but some other form of collectable. An example product with example categories. Gran Torino starring Clint Eastwood, produced by Warner Bros. The category tree for this movie might be something like this: DVD movies>>Warner Bros>>Drama>>Clint Eastwood We want offer to buy 3 used copies of this DVD at $3.00 our buylist output should list this in the following format: 2nd level cat, title, buy price, qty willing to buy, and then input field for the consumer to input the qty they wish to sell.? Repeat for all other items with buy values. ? Its import to note that this query will need to be able to pick out the second level category and list items by category alphabetical, followed be name alphabetical. Note we will not be offering to buy every item we sell, so the buy list should only show items with buy prices and qty above 0. Once the customer fills in the qty of each item they wish to sell. a submit button will take them to a summary page where they can see a summary of the items they chosen to sell us, with a total of the money they will receive. New form fields will ask for name, address, phone, email and ask how they would like to paid (PayPal, check, etc).? a continue button, to present one final summary of all data collected and a finish button. ## Deliverables Project: Add a buy cart/form to an existing shopping cart. We are seeking bids to add a buy cart/form to our existing online store. As an example we will use DVD movies, but the actual products we deal with are not DVDs but some other form of collectable. Currently our shopping cart (pinnacle cart) has items listed. We would add 2 new fields to the database table. Those fields being qty to buy and buy price.? Defaults are zeros. WE would need the ability to manage these values added to our admin interface in 2 places. The first being the actual item detail, where all attributes and information and information about a specific product are displayed. The second place is our view products pages, where we see a listing of products within a specified category. That page uses Ajax (i think) to allow us to change certain values on the list without refreshing the page.? It may be necessary to remove some existing, under used values from this list to make room for these 2 new fields. New form fields will ask for name, address, phone, email and ask how they would like to paid (PayPal, check, etc).? a continue button, to present one final summary of all data collected and a finish button. Each form step should have the ability to go back and make changes. Once finished the script should do the following: 1) email the customer a copy of the list, with instructions on where to send the items. 2)Email us a list of the items expected so we know they are on the way. 3)Reduce the qty we are offering to buy by the qty they just committed to sell us. This buylist and all pages associated with it, will need to be displayed to the user either on a wordpress page, or a page within our shopping cart in order to utilize our current templates. ? Options: dependant on cost. A) I am aware that the way the project is requested, once the user hits finish the current form will be lost other than the emails that are sent. Should the emails be lost or misplaced there would be no way for the user to resend or recreate the email without simply building a new cart. And it would be possible that if they filled our desired qty the first time we would no longer have that item in the buy cart until enough time has passed that we go back and input new buy qty. ? An option would be to store the cart until we mark it recieved. B) integrate the form with the existing? cart login system. to allow user to prefill information on the form and also probably required if we choose the store cart option above. C) Ajax on the Buylist. Instead of adding qty to the form fields and submitting to get a total offer, perhaps ajax could be used to update form in real time and have a floating "total box" so the user can see his running total as they go.
