Enterprise Technology Outsource

Enterprise portal looking to outsource part or all of its entire website management, administration and new development on a year round basis. Looking for one or 2 companies to provide these services on a competitive year round basis. This is an on-going project which requires people who need to have high level of competency in jumping in to existing code, tracking down bugs and issues, as well as enhancements, adding features and able to adjust to changes in requirements quickly. Looking to outsource to one maybe 2 proven and reputable companies the following positions: Technology Lead- 2 full time: 40 to 60 hours/week System Administrator- 1 full time Programmers: 6-8 people working 40 hours per week. Technology Lead- 2 full time: 40 hours per week. Manages all work of independent programmers, providing leadership in design, modification, development, and implementation of e-commerce applications. This person is a hands on individual who code the whole website themselves if there were 80 hours in a day. Core Skills 1. Experience in developing high-performance, database-driven websites & web applications. 2. Advanced PHP coding experience. 3. Advanced MySQL server experience 4. API Experience (example: billing & payment components) 5. SMTP & Messaging experience 6. PERL 7. AJAX 8. Scripting languages 9. Generating html without aid of tools 10. JSP 11. DHTML System Administrator- 1 full time/40 hours/week 1. Skills: Proficient in LAMP environments. 2. Expert at Linux system administration (RHEL4 preferred), basic knowledge of HTML, PHP, Perl, and MySQL. 3. Must know: Linux shell, Apache, svn, cron, and MySQL db basics (dump & reload), PHP config. System security via hardware (Cisco Pix) and/or software (iptables) & user management skills also required. 4. Expected to maintain a multi-server environment keeping base level applications in synch between servers. 5. Will be responsible for maintaining system uptime and ensuring all system patches are up-to-date. 6. Minimum 4 years experience in Linux environment. 7. If you don't know what cron, httpd. conf, up2date, rhn, rhel, or iptables means, please don't bother to apply Programmers: 6-8 people working 40 hours per week. We DO NOT want Code Hackers or Developers that say they can program but can actually only manipulate code and write small programs. We need a true Developer that knows how to write very complex code. You must be familiar with Large Database Queries, MySQL, Salt, PHP Sessions, And creating new functions, and classes from nothing. If you feel that you can handle a position like this then please send us a portfolio with some of your work 1. You must be a real expert in Php. 2. You must be a real expert in mySQL. 3. You must be a real expert in oscommerce. 4. Experience in mambo/Joomla a plus. What we are looking for is a Developer that is Very Experienced with PHP and MySQL. We prefer to find a developer that has many years experience with the languages Perl and C as this is what PHP is derived from.
