I own Postrgram.com. Right now if you go to postrgram and want to buy a poster first you create the poster using our poster creator at [url removed, login to view], then you add it to your cart and pay for the poster.
What I want is for the user to first buy the poster, and then get a email with links to create the posters that they just bought. It would be best if the user had some sort of simple control center where it showed the poster(s) they bought and lets them create and approve the poster so that it can be mailed out. Currently our poster creator is made in php and java. You probably wont have to deal with the java part, that is to interface with the software that creates the actual poster files.
The web server is hosted on amazon and is a windows machine. I assume we will need a database and I prefer mysql. There is a LAMP stack running on the windows server currently that hosts the poster creator.
Here is a detailed list of how the buying processes should go for the user. (** means this needs to be created)
1: The user browses [url removed, login to view] and finds a size poster or posters they like. They buy the poster and put in all of their shipping info.
2: ** The user gets a email immediately after ordering that sends them a secure link where they can create the posters they just bought
3: ** After clicking on the link it takes them to a page that shows the poster sizes they created on that particular order. On the bottom of the page there is a big green button that says "finalize order". This button can only be clicked when all of the posters paid for are created.
4: ** The user clicks on one of the poster sizes they ordered and is taken to [url removed, login to view] where they select the images they want in this poster. [url removed, login to view] is already created but it needs to be modified slightly.
5: ** When the user is done creating the poster at [url removed, login to view] they click on "Create poster" on the last page of [url removed, login to view] and it will take the user back to their "control panel" and show the thumbnail next to the poster. Most of this is done, it just needs some minor tweaks to work with the new "control panel" that you will be creating.
6:** When all of the posters are done the user clicks on "finalize order" and the notes on the order in shopify are updated to show the poster_id for each order (the poster_ids are generated at [url removed, login to view]). Also a email is sent to me letting me know that a new order is completed. In this email should be the order number from shopify and the poster_ids of all the posters they created.
Most of the work will be in PHP/MYSQL and you will also have to interface with shopify a little bit using the shopify API [url removed, login to view]
I am looking for someone that can make a interface that is simple and looks comparable to create.postrgram.com. It is important to me that the system is bug free and easy to use. I care much more about this that complexity or flashyness. Thank you!
